After three years, hundreds of emails and thousands of hours of negotiation the cloud exclusion experiment is finally being constructed now. Led by John Kelson and Grant Taylor, with critical coordination help by ACA, and the dedication of a large team of local technicians the tower materials are in place and will start to be errected. Before this can even start, 6m deep holes have to drilled into the bedrock for tower anchor placement – which is a major operation in itself. Once the anchors are in place the towers should go up relatively quickly.

Since then he developed a wide range of interests in the tropics, boreal and arctic systems involving plant-soil-animal interactions and ecosystem biogeochemistry.
